Alex Renner was born in Dresden, Germany in 1979. Ten years later, he moved with his family to Munich, where he completed his education.

With a consuming passion for cars and the automotive industry, it was only natural to study the subject from scratch at Autohaus G. Knoll and Erich Stautner as an apprentice in the maintenance of American sport cars and vintage autos. He also trained in repair and overhaul processes as well as electronics from 1996 to 1999.

After successfully completing his apprenticeship, Alex began his career as a technical engineer with Eric Stautner, and soon took over responsibility as a workshop supervisor until mid 2001. After a short stint at Interior Design Renner, owned by his father, he found himself at a crossroads and transferred his career to Dubai.
